It was all about guitars....Taylor guitars, that is, on Thursday June 16 as Morgan Music hosted the 2011 Taylor Road Show! Attendees were informed and entertained with an evening of guitar talk and demonstrations by factory reps from Taylor Guitars.

The Taylor team explained not only the many ways that particular woods and combinations of those woods affect the overall tonal quality of a guitar, but also the unique construction of Taylor guitars, (which allows for a Taylor's great response and playability), and an in-depth demonstration of Taylor's 'Expression System' electronics.

The team arrived with a colleciton of approximately 20 Taylor guitars for the demonstration representing all price ranges, sizes and styles that are currently offered by Taylor. As the specs of each guitar were explained, attendees were entertained and dazzled as Mike, (one of the Taylor Team members), would play various tunes from his elaborate repertoire to demonstrate the sound qualities of each guitar. This also allowed everyone to compare and hear for themselves how various tonewoods affect the sound of a guitar.

Attendees were also treated to Taylor's "Petting-Zoo"- giving attendees the opportunity to play each of the guitars and experience the quality feel, playability and outstanding tone of Taylor guitars for themselves.

We hope that everyone in attendance enjoyed the 2011 Taylor Road Show as much as we enjoyed hosting it. For those of you who were unable to be present, we hope that you will be able to attend future road shows and other events at Morgan Music.
