This picture was circa 1980 from the Lebanon Daily Record. The swank brown pegboard decor. It was 'earthy' and all the rage at only $4 per sheet. He was wearing his favorite genuine goose down vest, which he still has.

This photo was taken at Stoutland sometime in the early 1980s. It was his one and only fiddle contest. For those that didn't realize he was a fiddler, they are actually right. His career as a contest fiddler was cut short by the tragic realization that he had no talent. He tied for last place with a cardboard cutout of a fiddler that someone had entered as a joke.
