We designed the Generation around what really matters: premium acoustic sound. Built to the same structural and acoustic specifications as every other Bourgeois guitar, the Generation features a Torrefied Sitka Spruce soundboard, premium Mahogany back and sides and an L.R. Baggs Lyric acoustic pickup. This combination delivers a tone comparable to guitars twice its price, with the added versatility of onboard electronics.

We took all the elements that define Generation models and translated them into to our popular 14 Fret L-DBO body shape – smaller and more comfortable than an OM, with a short scale and a surprisingly loud and full voice. The Generation L-DBO features a Torrefied Sitka Spruce soundboard, premium Mahogany back and sides, and an L.R. Baggs Lyric acoustic pickup, installed in our special way.
