His music passion led him to learn about music history and immerse himself both as a performer and a preservationist. Today, he brings that same energy to Morgan Music, where he’s created a welcoming space for musicians, collectors, and enthusiasts alike.
Under Alvin’s leadership, Morgan Music has grown into more than just a store—it’s a community hub where the twang of strings and the echoes of tradition come together. Not only does Bobby have an extensive musical background, but he’s also an active performer. He plays in a regional country band, bringing his wealth of experience and dynamic talent to every show. When he’s not on stage, Bobby’s at our store helping customers find their perfect instruments, sharing his knowledge, and offering advice on everything from technique to gear.

Born and raised in the heart of West Tennessee, Tyler’s roots run deep in bluegrass. His passion for music led him to East Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Studies—a program as unique and authentic as the music itself.
With a keen ear for tone and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Tyler is especially drawn to vintage acoustic guitars, old Martins, and any instrument with a story etched into its grain. When he's not helping customers find their perfect instrument or chatting about tone woods, Tyler is out on the road playing in his band. His love for bluegrass shines through both in the shop and on stage, and he’s always eager to share that energy with others.
