The cherry version of the popular Vega Vintage Star features a quartersawn cherry neck and a 3-ply cherry rim. The cherry wood gives the banjo a distinctively classy reddish hue which will darken over time with a gorgeous patina. The beautiful aesthetics isn't the only thing the cherry wood brings to this banjo. It also gives the banjo a bit warmer tone than the standard maple version, while still maintaining plenty of brilliance.
