(Used) Collings D1AV- Varnish- 2006

This dreadnought is simply superb! It features a varnish finish along with an Adirondack top. It will come with the original case from Collings. The only wear to mention is a couple of light scratches and dings on the back of the neck.

Here's the story: 

This guitar was shipped to us and suffered a crack in the side during shipping. We repaired the crack and had the guitar refinished in varnish by an incredibly reputable luthier. The gentleman who did the finish does finishes for many high end mandolin builders across the country. Honestly, you would be hard pressed to find where the repair was done.
