Northfield
Northfield F5- 4th Generation
This mandolin has some wear that has been pictured, but nothing more then just cosmetic wear. So if you're looking for an instrument that has an incredible tone and you're not worried about some scuffing, then this would be a great choice!
Northfield's top of the line F5 mandolin, the 4th Generation, is the culmination of years of research on both famed vintage instruments of the 1920's as well as a today's modern masters of luthiery . On top of this research they also enlisted the council of some world class mandolin players to find out what musicians really want in a professional setting and bridge the gap between perfect sound and an instrument that players really want to play. We find this mandolin to be truly special ourselves and each time we pick it up it seems to surprise us with another beautiful layer of tone that was yet to be discovered. The balance of cutting power and richness of tone is impressive and it is an absolute joy to play.
