Featuring Martin's legendary dreadnought silhouette and a solid-wood construction of spruce-topped sapele, the Road Series D-10E Retro promises a balanced tone, full-bodied response, and momentous power backed by an X-style bracing pattern. The Road Series D-10E Retro also offers agile command thanks to a smooth 16-inch-radius ebony fingerboard, a historic 14-fret-to-body design, and a sleek PA neck profile joined to the body via a mortise and tenon neck joint. Even in the finer details, this guitar excels, with a saddle and nut combo of TUSQ and Corian to help further purify the instrument’s string response. Finished with open-gear tuners, an Aging Toner stain, and a host of other traditional Martin appointments like black binding, a single-ring rosette, and 28-style inlays, the Road Series D-10E Retro welcomes new players while marvelously maintaining its historic Martin charm.
