The Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a Limited Edition (Only 100 made worldwide) tribute to Gibson’s first Golden Age. Featuring a hand-selected birdseye maple top over a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body, this reissue combines vintage resonance, sustain, and midrange punch with Light Aged nitrocellulose lacquer by the Murphy Lab for a broken-in feel. A solid mahogany neck carved to the Authentic 1959 profile, joined with a long neck tenon, ensures exceptional sustain and smooth feel. Rosewood fretboard with cellulose trapezoid inlays, single-ply binding, 22 medium jumbo frets, and 12-inch radius deliver classic late-’50s playability.
